Endometrial ablation is a course that is done by a gynecologist where the lining of the uterus is reMoved. Obviously, this either eliminates or greatly reduces the bleeding a woman is experiencing each month during her period. It also treats the anemia since the woman will not be losing blood the way she has been in the past.

One thing the woman must reconsider before having this course is either or not she's complete having children. The hypothesize for this is because most doctors will also recommend a tubal ligation be done.

Doctors are trying to prevent the woman from the possibility of reproduction with the complications this can cause after an endometrial ablation. Even though the lining of the uterus has been reMoved, sometimes women are still able to get pregnant. If a woman resumes her periods at some point after an endometrial ablation then it is possible she can very well get pregnant. If she has gone straight through with a tubal ligation to prevent this from happening, then she may wish to seek a tubal ligation reversal in order to allow her the opportunity to get pregnant.
